1. Data controller

Mavi Growth, tax ID (NIT) 1067945083-1, domiciled in Medellín, Colombia, is responsible for processing the personal data collected on mavigrowth.com and on app.mavigrowth.com. Contact for personal data matters: contacto@mavigrowth.com.

This policy is governed by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (personal data protection) and its regulations. By using the Service you give prior, express and informed authorization for the processing described here.

2. What data we process

• Account data: your email address and access logs (date, IP address, browser).
• Data you provide: your business link, its description, your questionnaire answers and the messages you send us.
• Public information about the analyzed business: visible content from its website, its public social media profiles (such as followers and post engagement) and its maps and search engine listings. The platform reads it without logging in to any of your accounts and without asking for passwords.
• Purchase data: payment confirmation, order number, amount and buyer email, which we receive from Lemon Squeezy. MAVI does not receive or store your card details.
• Browsing data: on mavigrowth.com we use cookies and third-party analytics and advertising tools (such as Meta and Google). The platform uses its own cookie, needed to keep you signed in.

We do not request sensitive data. Please do not include it in descriptions or in the questionnaire.

3. What we use it for

• To create and protect your account and send you the access code.
• To prepare and deliver the audits.
• To manage purchases, refunds, support and requests.
• To prevent abuse and fraud and enforce usage limits.
• To improve the Service and produce aggregate statistics that do not identify you.
• To send you communications about the Service and, if you authorize it, MAVI commercial information. You can withdraw that authorization at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Use of artificial intelligence

Audits are generated using third-party artificial intelligence services. To do so, the platform sends those services the public information read about your business, the description you wrote and, in the full audit, your questionnaire answers. The result is automated and may contain errors; no decisions with legal effects on you are made with it.

5. Who we share it with

MAVI does not sell your personal data. It shares it only with providers acting on its behalf to deliver the Service, and only as needed:

• Artificial intelligence providers, to generate the reports.
• Lemon Squeezy, to process payments and issue receipts.
• Hosting, email and technical infrastructure providers.
• Competent authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers are located outside Colombia, so your data may be transmitted or transferred to other countries. By accepting this policy you authorize that transfer. MAVI requires its providers to maintain adequate security and confidentiality measures.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for up to twenty-four (24) months after your last use, unless you request deletion sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, accounting records of purchases).

7. Your rights

As the data subject, you can access, update and correct your data; request proof of your authorization; be informed about how it has been used; revoke the authorization and request deletion of your data when there is no legal duty to keep it; and file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

To exercise them, write to contacto@mavigrowth.com from your account email, stating your request. Inquiries are answered within ten (10) business days at most and complaints within fifteen (15) business days at most, as provided by law.

8. If your business was analyzed without your authorization

The Service may only be used for your own or authorized businesses. If you own a business or profile that was analyzed by a third party, you can write to contacto@mavigrowth.com to request deletion of that analysis.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: passwordless access with one-time codes, encrypted connections, and access control so each account sees only its own audits. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will act in accordance with the law.

10. Minors

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly process data from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. If a change substantially affects how your data is processed, we will let you know by email or on the platform.
